Spring is here, my dear!

Spring is here my dear!,

Her green finger giving life to dead twigs,

Waving her cloak of warm sunlight,

Proudly displaying her colourful budding blossoms,

Placing a smile on the face of children,

Blowing off Winters’ dusty gray blanket,

Driving the bucks to the edge of insanity,

Stretching the days a little at a time,

Conducting the early morning avian symphony,

Pulling the sleepers from their seasonal nap,

Feathering the rain with her big blue umbrella,

Holding the promise of better things to come,

Spring is here, my dear!
